I wasn't thrilled with the room arrangement. We talked it over and preferred a smaller kitchen since there's a diningroom. And the original plan had only two rooms on the second floor. I put a small bathroom above the kitchen. That left enough for two rooms yet. Plus I'm bringing the stairs up from the front door foyer area. That's gonna get tricky with what I have planned but I shall win! Doing this will leave more area for use on the second floor instead of it being a "fancy hallway".

Better angle of the kitchen and bathroom walls.
Was a real trick to fit that bathroom wall. It fits fine at the peak but not at the edges. I've decided to use posterboard to cover the walls then wallpaper. That should remedy the grooves and odd matchings. |

And that's kinda it for now. Betwen real house redoing, a dollhouse for another grdtr and another project that sneaked in, the Bayberry has been a little neglected. But not for much longer. |
